The Screwtape Letters Audio Drama

Focus on the Family Radio Theatre has release what looks to be an amazing dramatic adaptation of The Screwtape Letters.

The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis is a series of letters between to devils, as they discuss ways to snare their human prey. It brings to light excellent issues and offers an entertaining view of temptation and the resisting thereof. It is one of my favorites by Lewis--and generally the first I recommend to the novice reader.

The radio drama looks quite interesting! Andy Serkis is the voice of Screwtape--you may remember Serkis as the voice of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings. I imagine he will do quite well!

I have heard a few excerpts online at this site...and it promises to be wonderful! One day, I shall listen to it in its entirety.

C.S. Lewis Grave

I would love to go to England and tour the places C.S. Lewis worked and walked...for instance, I would love to go to the Holy Trinity Church and visit his grave...the epitaph on the headstone is from a Shakespeare play. It was hanging on a calendar near the time of his mothers death. I think it would be an interesting experience to walk through there and visit the grave...

Tidbits

I have determined to write on this weekly, and share my thoughts on the works of C.S. Lewis. I am currently reading The Pilgrim's Regress, and it is very interesting!


In other news, now that Fox has picked up The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the movie is to hit screens sometime in 2011. I hope it does the books justice!


The C.S. Lewis College is swiftly becoming a reality! It will open to 400 students in 2012, if all things go as planned. I am so excited!

Also I wanted to let you know that the C.S. Lewis College in opening in 2012! I am so excited! I sincerely hope I can attend the college....what an experience that would be!
